In the 75th year of independence, Kannada Rajyothsava Award has been conferred on Nele Foundation by the Government of Karnataka.
A committee of eminent personalities and the beneficiaries select this Awardee are assessed under various parameters before finally selecting them.
This is a pride moment for NELE, its founders, its relentless workforce, trustees, donors, and well-wishers. Rajyothsava Award is conferred only once to an organization. Unlike yearly awards such as clean city award etc.
The award brings more responsibilities along with joy. We need to re-dedicate ourselves towards further development keeping in view of the yardsticks based on which the Govt has selected us for Award. Lest we will be deleting the value of this award.
We have 12 centres at present. So far about 4000 children are benefited by Nele and are leading very good life in society.
Our aim is not only to get the child educated with good marks earning good salary and lead a luxurious life but to inculcate good values in life to become a responsible and model citizen to build a value-based society where everyone leads life happily.
We shall take oath that we will stay committed to working towards uplifting and brining in the much-needed social transformation to the lives of these children who are dependent on us.
