Opened : 2007 Location : Sindhi Government Higher Primary School, Makkala Basavanna Beedi, opp Nagarthpet jain mandir, Near Dharmarayaswamy Temple, Nagarthpet(K R Market), Bengaluru - 560078 Purpose : Home for boys deprived of opportunities Background : Nele Chandana (meaning Sandalwood) was first started in Maharaja Complex, Belli Basavanna Beedi, Mamulpet, Bengaluru and later on moved to its present address. The Nele is run in coordination with Sarva Shikshana Abhiyana (In the campus of Sindhi Government Higher Primary School, Makkala Basavanna Beedi, Nagarthpet, Bengaluru – 560078), Government of Karnataka. New boys admitted to Nele start their journey here. The children on completion of their studies here are shifted to Narendra Nele for pursuing higher studies. Present strength of children : 35 Age Group : 6 to 16 Classes in which boys are studying : 1st to 8th Standard School : Sindhi Government Higher Primary School Coordinator Details : Mahadev Patil
